Holiday TV Influence
The other night I was watching Scrooged starring Bill Murray and tonight I watched A Charlie Brown Christmas and I've been pondering the two and realized that they had the same message - Show others you care.  Don't only think of your naturally curly hair or how far you can get in a business, but think of those who may need a bit of a smile, those who lost a loved one, or had to deal with illness or other difficulties.  Sometimes giving others a reason to smile is the greatest gift you can give.  As Linus said of Charlie Brown's tree, "Maybe it just needs a little love.".  The song at the end of Scrooged keeps going through my mind:

Think of your fellow man
Lend him a helping hand
Put a little love in your heart
